Google is now the third most valuable technology company, trailing Cisco by $2.5 billion and Microsoft by $134 billion. The search engine and online advertising giant's total market cap has reached about $145 billion, which has allowed them to pass IBM, which has a market cap of about $139.5 billion. In addition to this nice piece of news for Google, it has been reported by the Indiatimes that co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are worth about $14 billion a piece, which notches them at the 12 and 13 spots on the Forbes list of the richest Americans. Page and Brin are also the youngest billionaires on that list. Just as a useless side note, this means that Google's $1.65 billion stock deal with YouTube is worth about 1.14% of Google's total market cap. This also means that though Google is the new hot kid on the Internet block, Microsoft can always find solace in its enormous market cap.
